I am a Christian who is seeking to fulfill God's plan for my life. I am married to Larry and we have five children. Our daughter Erika is married to a wonderful man, Hunter. I am a grandma to Katelyn. I homeschool our four boys. I am a stay at home mom who tries to do just that... stay home! We live on a 2 acre patch of land in Northwest Ohio.

"I believe in Chrisianity as I believe that the sun has risen: not only because I see it, but because by it I see everything else."

C.S. Lewis
"Whatever weakens your reason, impairs the tenderness of your consience, obscures your sense of God, takes off your relish for spiritual things, whatever increases the authority of the body over the mind, that thing is sin to you, however innocent it may seem in itself."Susanna Wesley

" Oh that God would give every mother a vision of the glory and splendor of the work that is given to her when a babe is placed in her bosom to be nursed and trained. Could she have but one glimpse into the future of that life as it reaches on into eternity; could she look into its soul to see its possibilities; could she be made to understand her own personal responsibility for the training of this child, for the development of its life, and for its destiny,- she would see that in all God's world there is no other work so noble and so worthy of her best powers, and she would commit to no others hands the sacred and holy trust given to her." J. R. Miller

" I pray because I can't help myself. I pray because I am helpless. I pray because the need flows out of me all the time-waking and sleeping. It doesn't change God-it changes me."

C.S. Lewis
And when the Bible speaks of God being in covenant with us, let me tell you some things it reveals about God. First, it shows that God is gracious. See, God owes us nothing. He could’ve just taken Adam and Eve, “You sinned. You die. You go to hell. The race is over. That’s it.” He could do the same with us. God is gracious. He owes us nothing. And he pursues us for the purpose of relationship. Mark Driscoll
