I read a quote by Ed Miller that reads: " We are not left on this earth after we become Christians because we have a job do to, but because we have a God to know." Isn't that just freeing? Our number one job is to know God.......not to be good enough, or to go to church, or to read the Bible in a year......although these are good things, but they aren't the main point. The Bible says in Psalms 9:10. "Those who know your name trust in you, for you, Lord, have never forsaken those who seek you." and in John 17:3 it says, "Now this is eternal life: that they know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent." We are to know Him......not know about Him!
Spend the rest of your life getting to know Jesus by spending time in his word and talking to him and allow the Word to change you.

Yes! We are people who like to 'do' but he asks us to just 'be'. I pray I can be always in His presence and get to know Him more and more each day.
